SPC Code of Conduct
The Sarasota Pickleball Club (SPC) members and volunteers will be successful in growing the sport of pickleball by always embracing the following values:

Service to our Members
Striving for Excellence
By doing so, our goal is to provide all members, players and participants with a safe, competitive and enjoyable experience. Any individual involved in an SPC activity (player, official, volunteer or any representative of the SPC pledges to do the following on and off the court:
Respect for the Individual regardless of gender, place or origin, color, ethnicity, religion, political belief, economic status or ability.
Respect for the Individual by not engaging in any behavior, that would or appear to, endanger the health, safety and well being of others, including but not limited to any participant, player, volunteer, spectator, SPC Board member and SPC Committee member.
Respect for the Individual by not engaging in the use of profanity.
Respect for the Individual by not attempting to play pickleball while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs and or/not abiding by physician recommendations.
Respect for the Individual by always exhibiting honesty, fairness and unquestionable integrity at all times.
Respect for the Individual by refraining from using one’s position in life and/or in pickleball to intimidate or cause another to feel uncomfortable.
Respect for the individual by refraining from exhibiting words or actions that appear to be harassment or an embarrassment to others.
Strive for Excellence by following all rules and regulations of the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP).
Service to our Members by providing a committed, positive and engaged pickleball community adhering always to the SPC Mission Statement.
Strive for Excellence by exercising self-control, discipline and excellent sporting practices at all SPC activities.
